Construction Manager

With experience spanning nearly 3 decades, Marcus Brummer has been responsible for providing effective, ethical, & exceptional leadership in commercial construction, serving in various roles & capacities from Project Manager to developing & leading the SE Region of a midwestern based minority owned company, to now having his own consultancy. 

 

As a Construction Manager & Owner’s Technical Representative he has led Institutional, Affordable Housing (single family & multifamily), Aviation, & Higher Education projects, as well as having managed the construction of Homeless Family Housing in Washington, DC. Marcus works tirelessly to ensure that all project milestones are met, that all stakeholder groups needs and priorities are understood & addressed, & that clients’ expectations are exceeded.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT/OWNER’S TECHNICAL REPRESENTATIVE

As a Construction Manager MMS leads the planning, coordination, & supervision of construction projects from inception to completion. This service encompasses all aspects of a project, including budget management, resource allocation, scheduling, & ensuring adherence to building codes & safety regulations.

Owners often take on projects while not having the technical expertise in-house to manage their own project. That’s when they hire MMS as their Owner’s Technical Representative. We act as the owner’s advocate and represent their best interest, providing technical expertise, coordination and oversight to guide the project to successful completion. Our job is to minimize risk, ensure the project runs smoothly and handle on-site challenges, all while the owner continues to focus on their core business.

MMS helps to fill in the gaps where other companies may be limited or stretched in their capacity by providing professionals who can perform as a part of their project team. We offer both Project Managers & Field Superintendents who can serve as role players or take on leadership of a project team, all the while being great teammates.

MMS is a licensed General Contractor in the state of Georgia and has the expertise & capabilities to manage the day-to-day project operations, ensuring that the project is completed safely, on time, according to specifications, and within budget.
